I'm going to apply to some colleges on the east coast, even though I'm not supposed to leave the state.

My parents are not helping me very much in this...looking for college thing.

I can't stay. I can't stay, and yet all they care about is colleges in California.

I'm tired of California. Yes, it's nice. Yes, it's Liberal, but I need a change. I've been saying it for years.

Again. I'm supposed to know what I want from life, what I want to spend my life doing. Yet, what I want is irrelvant to what I will study in college, if I stay in California.

"Follow your dreams." Riiiiight. Why not add: "... -as long as they keep you in California, preferably the bay area so that you'll live the same sort of life as your parents."

Dreams.
