I finally succeeded in dragging myself off to school. Not that I wanted to go, I just was getting all stressed out again, thinking about all the work I'd have to make up. I have half my math work done, but I have a ton to catch up on in Marine Science. Speaking of Marine Science, when I gave my teacher my readmit, it turned out they wrote it for the wrong day! They had written it for today, instead of the past few days. But my teacher says I don't have to bring him the new one when I straighten it out, he knows I don't cut my classes. (And that's just because my mother would have me drawn and quartered if I did, and besides, I have nowhere to go.) In my Spanish class, one of my classmates brought the cutest little mousie... in a little cardboard box. It was all fuzzy looking and white, and kept poking it's nose out of the bigger holes. I found out that they brought it to use for an experiment... They better not hurt that little cutie... (yes, I think mice are cute.) I promised myself I wasn't going to talk much today, and I stayed true to that. I hope I'll stop talking like a frog by Monday, I have a speech to give on that book I didn't read. It's amazing how even though it's getting cold out, the teachers still keep all the windows open. I had my cozy black coat on all day long. And I was still cold. But it might have been because I'm still sick. I've been popping throat drops all day long... mmm... echinacia...
