I felt kinda gothic today. Might have been the wearing of a black shirt and black skirt (yes, I wear skirts. occasionally. ok, rarely. almost never.) I was also feeling really hyper today for some reason. And I think other people saw me as hyper too, because when I'm hyper, people have a tendency to pat me on the head, like I'm a whiney little kid. I totally screwed up on this assignment I had for my Ethnic Lit class. I had Powerman 5000 stuck in my head all day long. I haven't been reading as much as I usually do lately, because reading a book, and then writing about it kinda sucks all the fun out of reading for me. So after I made a mockery of the assignment I was supposed to do with the book I didn;t read, I started reading "Moulin Rouge", just for something to do in my free time. I'm only on page 114, but it is a kick ass book. It's nothing like the movie though, but it does involve one of the people that was in the movie. And it's based on the life of a real person, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. So far, he's had an amazing life, and met so many famous people. I hope my life turns out at least half as interesting.
